The second group of bidwatchers seem to have good connections with the weather gods. Basking in the sun by the machine house, they report high numbers of both Red-billed and Red-throated loons passing Slettnes the last two days. Yesterday, the lucky fellows also spotted a Snowy Owl, resting just behind the lighthouse buildings.
